Reviewing and approving keys

Every generated key carries a status.

Status	Meaning
Generated	Newly produced, not yet reviewed. By closing SmartMapper all links with Generated status will be used for replacements later
Accepted	Approved for use
Modified	Edited by you, and approved
Rejected	Excluded
ForReview	Ambiguous – the same search text would need different replacements in different places

You can set status via Search & Replace keys export to Excel, processing of keys there and setting status and importing back to the ReplaceMagic. On the other side, if you are rejecting some links, you can remove them from exported file and re-import them back as that will create keys list based on what is done in Excel file.

Manual decisions apply until regeneration: Accepted, rejected, or edited key statuses remain in effect during normal use. However, if SmartMapper key creation is run again - for example, after adding or changing rules or after purchasing a license - the keys are regenerated and any previously assigned manual statuses are overwritten.
